16 oz. can. Pours black, with a medium, bubbly, brown head. The nose is dark chocolate, black cherry, light anise, chalk, and walnut. Dry and malty, with a mild bitterness. Remarkably balanced, complex, and dry. Quite nice.

Can from the brewery - pours nearly black with a sudsy tan lace - medium dry and moderately roasty, with a robust finishing bitterness (partly hops and partly dry, bitter dark malt) - light espresso and vanilla through the middle - nice autumn patio beer.
