Can from Tavour. Pours gold with a transient white head. Aroma is plum, yeast, clove, banana. Approaching full bodied. Not dry, but avoids sticky. Clove stands in for bitter. Flavor is yeast/spice, banana, clove and some fruity esters. Very clean, good flavor.

Can picked up from the brewery today - lightly hazy light amber color - minimal, bubbly lace - nose is caramelized sugars and some complex spiciness - clove, white pepper, all spice - some banana esters - candied oranges - flavor is similar - rich bready maltiness, but remains fairly dry, especially through the finish - peppery spice, some clove, cinnamon - overall impression is of a Dubbel, given the rich but dry maltiness and moderate to high spice profile from the yeast - pretty nice, really.

16 oz. can. Pours a murky, dark orange color, with a big, off-white head. The nose is rye bread, juniper, ripe apple, pumpernickel, light anise, and cloves. Sweet and malty, with a sharp, fairly yeasty bitterness. Strangely hoppy and abrasive, but good yeast character. Fun.
