Bouteille 33cl partagée avec Michele @ Il Pretesto, Bologna. BB 10/2015.

On keg at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Clear copper with thick off-white head of foam. Nose is fruit and malted milk biscuits. Taste is quite sweet at first then turns quite bitter and malty. Interesting brew really.

Bottle 330ml (AbM)
Clear orange-amber color, good off-white head. Pinewood and pine needles in the nose. Light-bodied. Nice bitterness. Piney .... pine needles. On dry side, not very fruity. Feels like a single hop. Decent, especially for this ABV.

330ml bottle. Clear amber colour with huge, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma has a floral touch, hints of red berries, lingonberry, fruit parings. Taste is grainy, earthy, dry hoppy overtones with cautious fruity hints, lingonberry finish; lively carbonation.

Cloudy amber color with generous fluffy head. Mild nice aroma, yeast spiciness and light hops, mild citrusy and chamomile touch. Dry mouthfeel, strong English yeast character, but edging into some astringency; quite strong bitterness.
Harsh, chalky.

Cask at the Woolpack, Boot, Cumbria. Pale amber, large white creamy head. Lots of American hops up front, with pine, grapefruit and a little breakfast cereal. Quite dry and a little bitter. Pleasant enough, but there’s so many beers like this around nowadays and this one failed to stand out against the crowd. OK.
