A deep chestnut-coloured ale, perfect for enjoying by the fire on the crisp, wintery evenings of Advent leading up to Christmas. Our Advent Ale is brewed with the finest English malted barley and local hops, and has a refreshing, fruity nose, a sweet liquorice flavour and a rich dark chocolate aftertaste.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear black/ruby body with a thin beige head that fades. Low carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of plum and wood. Flavour of toffee and flat Coca-Cola. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Simple and delicious.

30/3/2018. Bottle from Boots in a Christmas gift pack. Pours dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, malt, Christmas spices and dried fruit. Medium sweetness, moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.

Cask-conditioned at the Grove, Ealing 1/1/2018. Deep chestnut in colour with a thin, off-white, head. A sweetish mild, with some berry fruits, caramel, slight toastiness and gentle finish. Fine.

Bottle from Mayford Garden Centre, Woking. Sweet berries and choc aroma. Dark rub brown. Creamy offwhite head soon fades to nothing. Light bitter. Liqourice. Fruit. Malts. Tangy. Medim bodied. Slick. Ave carb. Long finish. For this breeery, surprisingly characterful. Good stuff, like the cask version.

Cask at the White Hart, Chobham. Sweet aroma - floral and chocolate. Dark with a chestnut tint. Good creamy light beige head. Sweet with a bitter edge. To quote a mate, "like stout mixed with coke." Medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Long finish. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours an amber brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Fruity malty spicy caramel flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a fruity malty caramel and dark fruit finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Dark brown pour with off white head. Malty aroma and taste with some caramel sweetness, treacle, barley, some light cocoa notes, decent mild.
