Bottle 33 cl. Pours a darkisk, orangey brown with a creamy and lacing beige head. The aroma has neat but subtle coffee aromatics. Body is thin and watery with some roast and coffee, getting a little ashtrayish and with a slightly tart edge, probably from the hard roast malts. Overall a fairly drinkable beer with a lot of flavor considering it's lack of strength. 061117

75 cl bottle @ home, BBE 08/2013
The beer started to foam out of the bottle after I opened the flip-top cork. Aroma has slightly bitter coffee, some hay, chocolate and distant peaty notes. Flavour has mocha notes, some peat, vegetables and hints of salty licorice. Somewhat watery palate. Harshly bitter, cold coffee in the finish. Too messy, perhaps a bottle too old?
