On tap at the Carter Payne. Pours dark brown, with a medium, foamy, khaki head. The nose is strong cloves, anise, cinnamon, rye, and pumpernickel. Dry and malty, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a chalky, dusty palate. This is a quality and fun brown. Lots of spice adds good characer.
