Taster at the Carter Payne. Pours black, with a medium, frothy, tan head. The nose is dark chocolate, smooth mint, rubber, and earth. Sweet and chalky, with a light roast bitterness. Heavy body, with a thick, grainy palate. This is a fun and well done stout.
