This ’ere super beer is traditionally brewed using the finest local Malted Barley and English hops in the highest Brewery in the British Isles (over 1400 feet above sea level), where the air is pure and the crystal clear waters of Dartmoor add a unique sparkle to this authentic smugglers’ grog.

Bottle 500ml.ABV: 4.2%. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, hay notes, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120810]

Bottled@chriso. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, berryish and quite pleasantly sweet. Flavour is fruity, floral, mild nectar and some slight wooden notes. Pleasant and refreshing.

bottle at home ... golden amber ... thin white lacing ... soft metalic fruity hop nose ... sweet frutis .. again metalic ... light carmal sugers .. almost barley suger ... little grassy linger

bottle from Darts Farm. Amber colour, large off-white head. Fruity, quite malty with hints of caramel, hoppy finish.
