Malty fruity Aroma with Brett. Great fluffy thick head that slowly subsides with a little lace. Flavor’s like nose, sweet bitter tart, but not overly complex. Decent body in Finish. Fairly good drinking beer.

sweet malty nose. Malty mouth with big Belgian yeast but pretty unsophisticated.

Tap at Marciero. Dark brown with reddish tint and lace. Hazy. Spicy nose ginger, cinnamon, fudge, raisins. Funky, spicy yeast, chocolate, licorice. As it warmed, it got more and more spicy, too much.

This beer was listed as a saison but is a surprisingly dark amber color with a filmy off-white head. Brett, wheat, fruits and banana bread in the aroma with a light body and very dry effervescent carbonation. The taste is sweet, sharp candy brett and sweet tarts. A touch metallic but fun.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange with thick off white head that lasts. The aroma is belgian yeast and spice. Medium mouth, apple skin, pine, light bitterness, decent.

Bottle. From notes. Funky with some decent horseblanket and barnyard. A little light fruit also. Very good.

Tap at Funkwerks - hazy amber pour - nose of cinnamon, pumpernickel, spicy hops, light toffee, very mild phenols - soft carbonation, full body - a little yeasty, so some of the flavors are a little muddled, but there are notes of dark bread, light esters, spicy hops, moderate basement, light cinnamon, mild fig - despite the.muddling yeast, I quite like this, even though there isn’t a lot of the promised brett character - guess I’m odd man out.

Bottle at the Funky 8 - Barcade, Brooklyn, NYC. Nice brett character in here, some spices, ripe fruits, moderate bitterness. Solid.

Bottle thanks to ratman. Pours with a medium hazy copper hued body with a large fluffy tan head that is well retentive. Aromas are strongly of raw ginger, massively grassy, spicy, cinnamon, fruity, lemongrass, mildly funky. Flavors are spicy and floral with a quick duration, ginger, dry, earthy, herbal. Assertively bitter. Lightly tart and fruity. Very dry with very lively carbonation.

Flavors are of honey, floral, leathery, citrusy, grainy, medium phenolics, tangerine and marmalade. Lively carbonation and quite dry.
