bottle from Trumps, Sidmouth. Golden colour, lovely hop aroma. Malty base, the hop profile is brilliant: fresh, slightly resiny with a citrusy touch. Smooth palate. Anytime again.

50cl bottle from Moor & More Beer, Plymouth. Golden amber with a loose white head; aroma of leafy hops and damp straw; slightly sour fruit taste - with apples and pears, and a farmyard fee; the finish is fresh with crisp apples and is also slightly salty. An OK bitter.

500ml bottle that was a present from someone and I should have drunk ages ago, but never got around to it. Rich deep amber with lasting beige head. Its kept very well considering it’s over a year old and the malts are good, some decent English hops on the end. A very passable bitter. I rather like it and I bet it would be good on handpull fresh.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 21/02/10. Amber with a slight white head. Aroma of barley sugar and apricot, with some hedgerow hops. Flavour of doughy malts, with more summer fruits and decent, bitter finish. Ok.
