Inspired by the dessert Bananas Foster. Imperial Stout Aged in a Eagle Rare Bourbon Barrel then Conditioned on Bananas, Madagascar Vanilla Beans, Cinnamon, and Rum Barrel Staves. Notes of deep caramel, balanced with bourbon, chocolate and vanilla. Cinnamon compliments the subtle fruitiness from bananas mid-palate and rum flavors rounding out the finish.

Good dark tan head, fast reduced to rim over jet-black beer. Strange nose! Mix of parsley (very outspoken), holly, rum, cigars, sandalwood, vanilla. Sweet rum, rumbonen, boerejongens, again cigarleaf & sandalwood. Brandy. Warming up, the cinnamon comes through, very clearly. Cherryliqueur. Sticky MF, chewy, sugary. Full bodied, low carbonation. Alcoholburn. Impressive. Maybe a tad too sweet, but all the same...
