One of the brewery's partners introduced me to a beer he drank on his trips to Portugal. It is very different from the beers we have in Denmark. So we decided to try to make a version, as a sample beer, and the results were really good. Something that sets this beer apart from most other Nordic beers is that it is inspired by the southern water profile. It is slightly fruity with a round finish. It goes well with pasta, pizza and grilled steaks, lamb and pork as well as Danish smørrebrød. Portugøl is great in the company of your friends.
