Bottle 275ml. [ Vintage 1977 ]. Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, victorian furniture. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, caramel, madera, sweet fruity, sugary, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120811]

Bottled@chriso. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is wooden, cereals, some mild madeira notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, toffee and sweet maltyness. Pleasantly aged as for the flavour, but aroma wasn’t that top anymore after all these years. Quite mouthdrying palate.
