Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr/madsberg/Ungstrup. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Rather neutral aroma, the hops don’t really come through. Lught body, a dry fruitiness with a rather bitter finish. Not so much to celebrate here to be honest. 221012

Cask at CP&K. It pours golden amber, with a small off-white head. The nose is spice, hopsack, light floral, wood and some underlying sweetness. The taste is spice, wood, earth, floral, particularly dry, pith, light tanginess, leather and some soap, with a very dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent stuff.

Cask @ The Southern, Edinburgh 200812
Pale golden, clear, thin white head, some lacing
Aroma - soft golden malts, light biecuot malts, light hops
Taste - Quite rich golden malts, some caramel, soft citrus hops, some biscuity malts, some bitterness, caramel shortbread toffee
Palate - soft carb, medium body, Quite oily, Sweet malts and bitter hops. Finish - rather too dry and mouth puckering. Soft bitter lingering biscuit, caramel shortbread, very dry linger
Overall - Nice beer, but it’s too dry. Not up to the dazzling heights of other beers in the range
