(Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell, London, 18 April 2012) Golden amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, marzipan, dried fruit and hints of ginger. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, dried fruit, citrus and a generous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, slightly sweetish. Lots more coming through in the taste than in the aroma. Quite nice.

Craft. Light haze on this gold beer. Little white head. Light dry palate. Mild dry pale malt. Juicy hops with bitterish orange and lemon. Dry finish. Quite suppable!

Cask air pressure at Euston Tap. Paleish gold lasting white head. Quite ascetic on the initial hit. Soft in mouth. Just too ascetic hopy for me even though the condition is good.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Doughy malts in the aroma, faint earth. Smokey malt flavor, some crisp bitterness, minerals, hard edge. Light bodied with fine carbonation. There’s a further mineral quality in the finish that comes across as smokey, also some light malty sugars, mild earth. So so.
