Taster at the Ocean Beach location. Pours a clear, ruby, brown color, with a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is maple wood, pine, rye, black pepper, and wet grass. Sweet and malty, with a hard, dank bitterness. Sticky, overhopped, and harsh.

GABF 2013. Pours a pretty clear deep orange appearance with a light brown head. Caramel, chocolate, toffee, a bit herbal aroma. Really pretty sweet, caramel malty, brown sugar flavor with a touch of dark fruits. Kind of too sweet for me but not bad.

From tap at MikkellerBar. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is dense malty, caramelish, overripe fruity and solid pine hoppy. Bitter, fruity, dense hoppy and smooth fruity. Lingering dark malty, light alcohol and solid hoppy into the finish.
