Draft pour a few weeks back at the brewery release party. From notes. Pours a solid brown with a semi tart, cinnamon and other spice aroma. A lot of nutmeg flavor and some chocolate. Has a hint of sour in the flavor as well, which I was surprised to notice. Ridiculously smooth beer here. Really good stuff. UPDATE: retry month 2017. Draft at Brouwers, Seattle for Stout Fest. Less impressed this time around, though the beer is still solid. More potent than I remember. Huge bite. Some caramel. Fun to try again. Will pull the bottle out soon.
