Bottle (5.8% ABV) from The Beerhive. Dark brown body with a thin beige head that fades. Very faint lacing. Aroma of raspberry brownie and wood. Flavour of cranberry and dark chocolate. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Soft fizz. I think this would have been better if it was a bit sweeter. I found it to be overly sharp.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - dark brown to black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - raspberries and chocolate alright. Taste - luscious creamy chocolate with sweet malt. The raspberries deliver just enough freshness as they pole through the middle. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Long, elegant finish. Overall - lovely beer!

Keg at the jolly judge dark blast... Dark black.. Thin tan head.. Soft sweet dusty chocolate roast malts soft raspberry nose... Soft sweet caramel toffee fruit. Soft sweet woody chocolate roast malts.. Mellow chocolate roast... 4.0

Keg at the jolly judge. Pours deep brown, nose is huge raspberry, caramel, roasted, taste is sweet, chewy, tart berries, a little thin.
