They say it gets you through, but sometimes you need a stronger brew…

We’ve packed our export strength sour with more patriotic, irony goodness than ever before. Dialled up to 8.4%, our Imperial Iron Brew beer is bound to get a Scottish person’s blood pumping harder than an English restaurant refusing their bank notes.

Серия сауров которая еще держит меня поближе к некогда моей любимой пивоварни. Снова этот том самый айрон брю, самая лучшая версия этого кислячка.

375ml bottle from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - deepest orange body with a short lasting white foam. Bubblegum and tangerine notes up front, lots of oomph from the ABV, with a good sour Irn Bru lipsmack at the end. Easily identifiable as a boozy version of Irn Bru 1901.

375ml bottle. Pours dark orange gold with a medium head. Aroma is sweet, sour and sticky Irn Bru. Taste has sweet and sticky Irn Bru with a sour finish. A bit one sided.

Can from Eltham Wines. Nose is strawberry Starburst, cherry drops, cola cubes, rhubarb & custard sweets, very sweet shop/candy store. Taste is an amalgamation of the above. Sweet warming flavours. Very pleasant.

Hazy amber, white head and a sugary, lightly tart orange-y aroma. Flavour isn't especially sharp or sour, but there's a bit of that with a sort of candied orange flavour, some citrus sourness and a bit of soft-drink sugar sweetness in here too. Kinda mellow for the strength to be honest, probably too drinkable!
