11.2 oz bottle. 2022 bottle drank in late 2025..still holds up well. Cocoa chocolate, chocolate covered fruit cake, some oaky bourbon candy. Hops attempt to get through the sweet body, and do pretty well in giving it some balance, complementing the bold roast tones. Quite drinkable for the ABV.

Bottle split at CBC Islo Matteo ciao, thanks to Matteo, 20/02/17. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is rich roast, spice, chocolate, charr, earthy, faint coffee. Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, roasted tones, toffee fudge, fruit cake, black peppery spices. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost. Adequate impy stout but expected more from this and nowhere near as good as the original.

Bottle at Matteo’s leaving drinks, thanks to the main guy himself. It pours jet black with a thick tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, cake, syrupy and charred wood. The taste is quite sweet upfront, juicy dark fruits, charred wood, rich roasted malt, dull smoke, chocolate, cookie dough, cake, rocky road, vanilla and plenty of warming booze with a hot finish. Full body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. A bit harsh and rough around the edges, but not without its charms.
