Obsidian is an extremely dark beer with hints of chocolate and raisins. A fusion of Maris Otter, Munich, Roasted Barley, Dingeman’s Special B and a large proportion of Malted Oats to give it a silky finish. Bitter, yet sweet.

Cask (handpump) @ Crown and Kettle, 2 Oldham Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M4 5FE.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, light raisin and dark dried berry - fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, chocolate malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120120]
