A Red Ale with a great hop balance. Bringing back an old favorite is always a treat. Hop head red is a medium bodied classic red ale. The bitterness is derived from whole flower organic New Zealand Pacific Gem hops and the floral aroma comes from the organic Hallertau hops. So if you like hops you must give this one a try. Enjoy!

On tap at the SLC BP Clear deep dark reddish amber. Fine light tan head. Even blanket of side lacing . Some nice woody resinous hop character in the aromas. More mellow floral citrus hop in the flavors. Smooth moderate palate. Sturdy:

Appearance: Dark amber almost brown with a nice off white head and lots of lacing
Aroma: Hints of citrus, flowers and pine. Not a real strong hop aroma
Taste: Plenty of hops in the taste that isn’t in the aroma. Sweet malts in the finish
A well balanced beer and easy drinkability.
