This dark wheat is our newest Brewer’s Stache offering. Wheat malt brings a distinct bready character and the addition of caramel and Munich malts add a rich toasty sweetness. The Bavarian yeast strain’s banana and clove notes pair perfectly with the malt for a smooth and refreshing wheat beer.

Pours a hazy dark brown with a medium sized beige head
Aroma of toasted malts and chocolate. Taste of tasted malts, wheat, grainy and chocolate. Decent.

On tap at the brewpub. They called it a just Dunkelweizen. Tastes more like a Dunkel to me. A nice dark brown pour with a small white head. The aroma is sweet chocolate and light roast. The flavor is again chocolate dominated with some grains and light fruit akin to oranges. Clean and easy. Somewhat thin at times. Enjoyable.
