For our first anniversary, we wanted to brew an authentic country-style saison. These beers were originally brewed to quench the thirst of farm hands working in the fields and often used whatever ingredients were available. Pilsner malt, oats, raw barley and unrefined brown sugar, all combined with earthy European hops, and the peppery, fruity saison yeast make for a very complex beer. Unfiltered, raw and fresh with a healthy acidity and high level of combination making this traditional ale both refreshing and perfect for pairing with food. Thanks for a great first year!
