Rich chewy malts, lots of alcohol, soft fruits, light booziness. I'm not sure the age that's been put on it has done either positive or negative - would like more heat taken off.

A pour from the bottle on Black Christmas V. Pours a hazy golden with a tan head. Aroma is fruity and berry bourbon. Similar taste, very bitter. Quite smooth and good, though.

Bottle thanks to my secret Santa. Pours a near clear deep amber with an orange hue and a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and caramel with a bit of apple and a decent amount of bourbon. Flavor starts with some earthy grain and bread with growing sweet grains, caramel and some vanilla/bourbon that adds a bit of heat in the finish.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy amber color, small head. The aroma shows both some oak aging (vanilla) and dust.; light cheese and fruits. Sweet malt flavor, caramel, some fudge; wood; the bitterness in the end is a bit odd.
Good, but some weirdness here.
