Rich chewy malts, lots of alcohol, soft fruits, light booziness. I'm not sure the age that's been put on it has done either positive or negative - would like more heat taken off.

A pour from the bottle on Black Christmas V. Pours a hazy golden with a tan head. Aroma is fruity and berry bourbon. Similar taste, very bitter. Quite smooth and good, though.

Bottle at RBSG. Pours a hazy copper with small off white head that lasts. The aroma/taste is bourbon, caramel, roast, wood. Nice sweetness, boozy, held up very well.

Bottle - Nice barrel and caramel notes. Cloudy copper with a small white head. Big woody barrel notes with a touch of toffee and a dry boozy finish.

22oz bottle pours out orange copper topped with a sand head. Nose is bourbon wood notes rich caramel malt sweetness. Taste is more of the bourbon barrel notes toffee caramel and a little bitter notes on the end.

Bottle thanks to Jeremy. A cloudy red orange color. Small white head. Sweet, toffee, fruity, some oxidation. Nice to try.

Bottle thanks to my secret Santa. Pours a near clear deep amber with an orange hue and a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet grains and caramel with a bit of apple and a decent amount of bourbon. Flavor starts with some earthy grain and bread with growing sweet grains, caramel and some vanilla/bourbon that adds a bit of heat in the finish.

Bottle 22fl.oz.Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, frothy, good to fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dried fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, bourbon. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20120616]

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity dry malty spicy hoppy dark fruit aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy bitter and slightly woody vanilla flavor. Has a sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of vanilla.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy amber color, small head. The aroma shows both some oak aging (vanilla) and dust.; light cheese and fruits. Sweet malt flavor, caramel, some fudge; wood; the bitterness in the end is a bit odd.
Good, but some weirdness here.
