Bottle 500ml.Clear medium to dark brown amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, spiced, clove, cinnamon, light brun kager (christmas cakes). Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, spicy, spiced bitter, malt burnt bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. To spicy for me ... [20120623]

Bottle. A clear, amber beer topped by a small, light beige head. Cardamom and cloves on the nose, some nutty hints too. Too much cloves on the palate, leaving little room for other flavors. Some pale malts and bitterness though. Medium body, quite dry. Spiced finish. A beer that is too much focused on the spices, especially on the cloves. Won’t miss this one. 120623

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Reddish-brown pour with a white head. Has an Easter aroma to it - hot cross buns, raisins a little chocolate, cinnamon. Sweet-spicy taste of sultanas, figs and cinnamon. Interesting.
