Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Cloudy, opaque, murky brown with a small, rough beige head. Slightly tart, rustic aroma, berrries and yeast. Rich body, lowish carbonation - as always from Jackie O! Bretty? Well, I dunno, somewhat sulphurous and dry. A very unusual beer. 160612

Bottle shared by the brewer (Brad?) at DrBill’s tasting. Pours with a deep brown body with minimal off-white head. Aromas of alcohol, deep malt, light roast, caramel, fruity, estery, currants, and light funk with some wood notes. Flavors are definitely show a light lactic sourness with some oak and brett. Red fruit notes and deep malt flavors. Medium bubbles. Very interesting.

Sample at One Funky Afternoon at Jackie O’s on 04/02/2011: The beer is a murky dark brown color with a thin light beige head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Vinous aroma with notes of vanilla and malt. Medium body with a moderately sour fruit flavor backed up by oak and brett notes, along with touches of malt. The finish is fruity with a dark malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery during the 5th anniversary party. Poured a cloudy brown with a white head that dissipated completely. Aroma was floral and sweet grain upfront with a more subtle and pleasant light fruit, caramel, and funk backing. Flavor mirrored aroma with a tart fruit and caramel profile backed by sweet grain and funk.
