On tap at CRBF, pours a red-tinged dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma has gentle lactose, some faint earthy cocoa, and toasted malt. Flavour is more like an amber ale given the lack of depth, with sugary toffee, bready malt, maybe a touch of lactose. Very watery, lacking depth. Poor.

355ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet chocolate malts some ash and a little cherry. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts touch of cherry.
