Evo is a showcase Northwest IPA, hopped with Yakima Valley Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial, then aggressively dry-hopped with Simcoe and Columbus. Deep copper in color, it boasts a deep floral aroma with strong notes of grapefruit and tangerine citrus on the palate.

Draft. Cloudy amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of honey, fruit, floral hops, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. A lot of floral hops and citrus in the taste along with strawberry and caramel. A different tasting IPA. It borders on syrupy, though.

22oz bottle picked up at JB’s in Spokane
Appearance: Pours clear amber with a mediums sized creamy off-white head that stays put and lots of sticky lacing as you drink
Aroma: Caramel and fruity
Taste: Tart malts, caramel, dusty, cardboard with a bitter pine finish
I had high hopes from the hops on the label and the great appearance in the glass, it just didn’t deliver.

Can. It pours an unclear, golden-orange body and a finger-thick, dense, light beige head. The aroma is on the hoppy side, with some maltyness in the back. Pine cones, resins and something fluor toothpaste-like. Pleasantly carbonated, full-bodied. Hop-driven flavor with some pale malts and a touch of caramel in the back. Quite bitter all the way, and a lasting finish. A nice one indeed, but I’d like it more hoppy. 120622

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a medium off-white head that recedes quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Floral hops and sweet malt in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of piney hops, malt and a bit of citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent IPA overall.

Bottle: Golden orange pour with two finger of fluffy sand colored head. Big aroma of hops; mostly grapefruit and citrus. Some florals. Taste is more hoppy, but more bitter than flavorful. Lots of bitters, in fact. I like it, but it needs a little more r&d.
