Evo is a showcase Northwest IPA, hopped with Yakima Valley Simcoe, Amarillo and Centennial, then aggressively dry-hopped with Simcoe and Columbus. Deep copper in color, it boasts a deep floral aroma with strong notes of grapefruit and tangerine citrus on the palate.

12 oz can. 6.2% ABV. Pours a hazy orange with a smallish light-beige lacy head that collapses after a minute or two, leaving a ring. Aroma is nice and IPAish, with pine and catbox prominent. Taste starts out sweet for a half a second before the bitterness kicks it to the side and lingers on the tongue. Tastes of DME. I know a lot of people don’t like that flavor in a finished beer, but it doesn’t bother me. Carbonation is medium and the body is medium-full; sticky texture. A good IPA that comes pretty close to being great.

Courtesy of riversideAK. Bomber pours clear deep copper with off white head. The aroma is full with yummy citrus hops and some tropical fruit notes as well as flowery floral sweet cotton candy and spicy hops. The floral note seems a bit out of place but the other yummy notes sure make up for it. The taste is the same with an initial pulse of citrus hops, tropical fruitiness, spicy hops and some floral hop notes all running amuck across my palate. It seems to move from bitter hops and to flavor hops and then back to bitterness and then hop resin into the finish. Nice and hoppy where the floral seems a bit out of place much like in the nose. Good stuff.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours dark ruddy copper with a creamy off-white head. Smells floral and citrus cat pee. Med body. Flavor is rough caramel backbone with a lot of primarily citrus hop. There’s floral and lurking resin though. All in all it’s a great IPA.
