Quality Lager

330 ml bottle (sampled as original Henninger brewery many years ago). Golden body with a small white head. Aroma is sweet malty and a hint of more hops than the Mythos version a think. Flavor is slightly sweet malty, grain and some hops (still better than the newer version). Refreshing, not outstanding.

Canned(330ml). -According to the can, brewed by Mythos under licence of Henninger Bräu AG, Frankfurt am Main.
Golden coloured, almost no head, corny nose. Aroma of weak malt and hay with notes of corn in the finish.

This beer used to be popular some yearts ago but now not so much. A pretty average lager. Quite watery and boring.

Das Bier schmeckt malzig mit teilweise stechendem, hinten rum allerdings wieder wässrigerem herben Ton. Das Bier lässt im Nachgeschmack wirklich stark nach und kann wirklich nur durch eine hängen gebliebene minimale Herbe punkten. Das Bier scheint dem warmen griechischen Klima angepasst, da auch im Mittelteil kaum ausgeprägte Aromen vorhanden sind, zusätzlich erscheint der malzige Ton etwas künstlich. A hazy orange beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy, while the flavor is sweet too, but here the hops gives it an impression of straw.

(Bottle 50 cl) Henninger used to have their own brewery in Greece, but it was bought by Mythos and later closed. Mythos has continued to brew beers under the Henninger brand though, hence this which doesn’t seem to have any German equivalent.
Pilsener golden with a small, white head. Aroma of malt and some nice malty fullness in the body. Quite soft and slightly sweet - not much bitterness to be found here. 240905
