Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brown with a very slight beige head. Aroma is mildly tart/sour and has zinfandel and wood. Med body. Flavor is zinfandel and wood. Medium dark malt. Sour/tart. Rather mouthsmacking. Kind of like a Flemish red/brown.

Sample during the "Micah's Downstairs Reopening" tasting on 03/02/2018. The beer is a deep reddish-mahogany color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of white wine, berry, yeast and malt. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, tart cherry and berry, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is tart with a white Zin and oak aftertaste. Good beer overall.

12 oz bottle poured. Dressed in the uniform Avery gold foil. Love this series. Thanks to Tcon for the share! A dark cola brown pour. Bold dark fruit character. A constant sour with plenty of barrel presence. A unique wine note to this, but not surprised since I've had likely the least amount of tries with Zinf than any other style of wine, especially with aged beers. A much more mellow beer than expected with the imperial sour tag. Complex, and unique. A standout sour. Love it.

chilled 12 oz. brown bottle poured into sample glass, part of a three side-by-side. Pours dark brown with no head. No lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and tart aroma with a hint of soy. Taste is tart, some oak, and a hint of dark malt.
