Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a rich and frothy white head leaving some lacework. Fruity nose with a very subtle hop character. Medium body, very smooth mouthfeel, a lovely fruitiness, slightly yeasty with a dry but unspectacular hoppiness. British hops are so incredibly.....blah! Ends dry and bitter. But in spite of the British hops at least it’s drinkable. 290512

From a 750ml bottle on 18/3/2011 (shred with Butz). Pours a slightly cloudy golden with a big head. Has an aroma featuring some orange and Belgian like yeast notes. Has a relatively sharp, slightly sour hoppiness, with some caramel malt in the background. I’ve never heard of a Burton style IPA before, but this doesn’t have too many IPA characteristics imo. More like a Belgian ale. Quite a good beer, but not what I was expecting.
