This pale ale is very hop forward. The white wheat and flaked barley used doesn't really help with the mouthfeel at all, probably because we just tossed tons and tons of hops in it. Hops used primarily include Simcoe and Mosaic, a pair that really gets along well. Nice, balanced bitterness, with a kind of piney fruitiness that hands on long after the last sip. Very aromatic, with hints of fruit up front, followed by some pine tree resin kind of notes.
