My Beer, My Choice is this years Pink Boots beer. Every year the Pink Boots Society choose a hop blend and female brewers (and other fermentation processes) across the world use it in a beer of their choice. The blend this year consists of Loral, Ekuanot, and HBC 586 creating a blend with Stone fruit, citrus and Herbal aromatic qualities. This beer is nice and tart with tropical, Stone fruit, sour candy and citrus flavors, and finishes with a hint of hoppy bitterness that comes across as slightly Herbal. It is thirst quenching and easy to drink.
