Originating in Dusseldorf, Altbier is one of Germany’s iconic Ale styles. As opposed to Lagerbier, Altbier is fermented warm with top fermenting ale yeast. A simple recipe inspired by one of the oldest and most iconic Alts. Notes of dark bread crust and caramel balanced by a snappy noble hop bitterness. Incredibly drinkable and a beer we can’t put down.

16oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours clear dark brown with a medium sized off-white head, light lacing. Toasted malts, toffee, bready, nutty, mild citrus bitterness. Good
