ALL BLACK NOTHING is a 6.5 IPA hopped all throughout the process with nothing but the best hops from maybe our favorite hop growing region in the world, New Zealand. We absolutely love hops from NZ, as is evident by the fact that 4 of the 11 beers we’ve released so far feature them prominently. ABN utilizes a 50/50 blend of Nelson Sauvin and the incredibly rare and very special to us, Riwaka, along with a small dose of Southern Cross. We love NZ hops because they offer such a unique aroma and flavor profile with depth rarely found in hops from other countries. There are vibrant notes of varying citrus fruits, stone fruit, and white wine coupled with that, NZ terroir driven, oily fresh cut herb. It’s a beer we keep wanting to stick our noses in as the aroma profile seems to change with every sip.

Yes this beer is hazy. It’s hazy cause it’s hoppy. We add over 5#/bbl of hops that happen to contain lots of haze forming polyphenols. We don’t add any wheat or oats or anything to promote haze nor do we ferment our yeast warm to promote esters. The result is a pure and saturated expression of these hops that’s still light on the palate and always invites another sip.

16oz can picked up at the brewery. Pours hazy orange with a small white head, good lacing. Tropical fruit, pineapple juice, floral, citrus peel, bitter sweet finish. Tasty.
