This new-age rice lager has a simple grain bill of pilsner malt and about 13% rice giving it a light body and a crisp, snappy finish. We used Adeena hops from Roy Farms to add a little lemon zip to the palate, and restrained additions of both Motueka and Bru-1 in the dry hop to give it just a subtle kiss of pineapple, lemon, and lime to the nose. The result is a fantastically crisp and interesting beer that pairs well with all summer activities.

16oz can at the brewery. The board and website say New School Rice Lager, but the description and the can say Rice for the Cure. Pours clear golden with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Crackers, light malts, fruity, lemon zest. Very nice, easy drinking.
