A new hop from Hop Breeding Company called 1019, we have on our hands a truly unique hop. Moderately bitter, oily with a myriad of complex aromas and flavors, it turned out very peachy. So peachy, in fact, that people think we put peaches in it. We didn't, it's just the hop. Also, coconut is undeniably a huge aroma component to this beer. That peachiness is a fairly unique flavor to garner from a single hop, and it's a welcome addition to our hop inventory that I'm sure will appear in many beers to come.
