Cask @ The Linen Hall, Enniskillen [300414]
Caramel brown, clear, thin beige head
Aroma of soft dark fruity malts, light aroma
Taste of caramel, light fruity, watery, touch nutty, hint of toffee, slight sour fruit, very thin flavour but what’s there is ok
Palate - Thin and watery, light sweet, very slight sour note. Finish is watery and rapid
Overall - Comes across as economy brewing...skimping on ingredients

Cask-conditioned at Great Western Hotel, Exeter 12/05/2012. Deep, ruddy amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Light chocolate and toasted malt aroma. Flavour had some more chocolate, a touch of fruit and a soft, bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW, London. Pours clear, red-brown with a light, filmy head. Leather, musty aroma, faint dry and stale cocoa. Bad, unpleasant flavor. More leather, ugly chocolate grass or something. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finish is abysmal. Plastic. Weeds, funky stale finish. Bad beer. Ew. Damn it. (First reviewed October 2011, score: 1.9)

Cask at GBBF 2017. Much better though still not spectacular. Pours clear, deep copper with a foamy head. The nose holds some leaves, berries, lightly toasted grains. Lightly sweet, a little earthy. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Finishes with moderate sweetness, subtle tangy berries. Enjoyable. (August 2017, score: 3.3)
