Fra flaske, første dag på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: rødlig mahogny med svært kort skum. Ordinær pilsnersmag med extra karamel og urter. Flad og intetsigende.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear, orangey brown with a beige head. Nutty aroma, very subtle roastiness. Medium body, sweet roast, slightly toasty, sweet chocolate. Extremely clean, smooth and easygoing - exactly how I’d want my Dunkels. 270417

(Keg at Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs, 20170106) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had caramel, toffee and hint of toasted malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, caramel, grass, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and mildly bitter. A way too sweet brew.

Bottle from Craigs, dregs run tasting. Pours clear brown with a decent fluffy head. Aromas of caramel, faint metal. Taste is earthy sweet malt. Clean finish.

500ml bottle [Big thanks to Tanja & Verena!]. Clear, dark, reddish, chestnut colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish dark malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, treacle, a minimally grainy touch. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, minimally roasty, some malt lozenge, very cautious hints of bone-dry dark chocolate; a grainy and a wet strawy touch sadly cause minimal defilement.

Keg at Uppsala Ölfestival. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Apples and caramel, dough and ripe fruit. Mid sweet with medium and clean rounded mouthfeel. Red apples, dough and caramel. Low bitterness.
