Very slight haze on this gold beer. Tiny white head. Light crisp palate. Nice lager - well judged malt, not too much caraway nuttyness. Mild but detectable hops in good balance. Crisp and refreshing. Dry finish. Mild bitter aftertaste. Hit the spot this one!

Fairly ordinary lager aroma. It has a deeper, but not a full pilsner taste.

500ml bottle. Pours gold with a small head and little carbonation. Aroma is faint, grassy, lime and a little skunk. Taste is grassy and some lemon to start with a skunky finish. Decent in the mouth but could do with more fizz.

bottle from M&S Bath. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Hoppy nose. Shy, but solid malty base, good Saaz hop flavours, bitter-sweet. The beer shows a typical Bohemian character.

50cl bottle from M&S. Gold clear, thin white head. Pretty good to be honest, not any cardboard, and it’s got some very good hop and some lime/lemon fflavours. I rather liked it. Good clean flavours.

50cl bottle. Typical Czech hop aroma on opening, a combination of fruity hops, stewed vegetables and farmyard; amber in colour with a rapidly fading white head; rather sweet and grainy in flavour and thin in body; the finish has some spicy hops, but not enough to avoid leaving a soggy cardboard aftertaste. Disappointing.
