On tap at the Meridian taproom. Clear dark brown pour with a thin tan head. Lots of full chocolatey malts and a little woody astringency. Smooth bodied and full palate. Rich.

On tap at the brewery pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice rich roast malts some coffee and chocolate notes. Taste is more of the nice rich roast ash coffee chocolate touch.

Taster at Loose Screw - McMillan. Dark brown pour with a small beige foamy head. Aroma is roasty and bitter, with notes of coffee. Taste is the same as the nose, roasty, burnt, coffee, dark chocolate.
