12 oz. bottle, pours a dark reddish brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out stale bready malts / cardboard. Flavour is along the same lines, with cardboard and stale bready malts. Weak, watery and very much off. Very poor. But it's an Albanian tick.

Bottle poured at the tasting. Thanks to luttonm again for the well traveled bottles. Cool tick. Dark amber pour with a heavy grain aroma. Stale hop like, and off putting. Grainy linger, with minimal roasted malt. Beer wasn’t as good as the idea of trying it.

0,33 bottle purchased in Peje/Pec (Kosovo). First time spotted here. Pours cola like color which appears reddish brown through the light, nice and consistent tan creamy cap. Nose: caramelized brown sugar, caramel, roasted malts. A bit thin but come on...I expected much less. Mouth: far too watery, thin, no identity. Some residual bitterness far away in a body which talks to sparkling water. Never again.

Pours a brown color, topped with an average beige colored head. Malty aroma, slightly roasty, with notes of caramel and chocolate. Sweet start, some roasty notes in the body with gentle bitterness in the end. Not bad.

Bottle in Shokdra. Opaque brown color, tan head, fine lacing. Aroma of burnt caramel, like an imperial creme brullee. Taste is sweet, extra malty, sweet chocolate milk and sweet biscuits. Did I say it was sweet?

Bottle at the Rogner hotel, Tirana. Pours a deep red/brown colour with a small off white head. Aroma of sweet malt and bread dough. Some roasting. Fairly sweet, medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, sweet to finish. Better than average for area.

Bottled 330ml (Tirane)
Interesting ... dark pils. Clear dark nut brown color, small brown head. Sweet worty industrial kalja-kali-kvass aroma; rye bread and sugars. Medium-bodied. Wort, sugars, rye bread, syrup. Funny how this also tastes like Estonian kali or Finnish kalja.
