On tap pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is nice pine citrus hops and some rye bread malts. Original review text: On tap at the brewery pours rusty copper color topped with sand head. Nose is light grain some toast and a spice. Taste is more of the light sweet malts spice toast.

On tap at the Boise taproom. Foggy rusty reddish brown with a nice dense light tan head. Woody sharp malt flavors and enough hop bite to balance it out. Firm and aggressive. Bold.

Half pour at the brewery. Dark amber pour, paychy head. Aroma is light malts, taste offers stronger malt character, but with a fair amount of bitterness and dryness.
