Tasting at Papsø’s, vintage 2011, 8% ABV
Cloudy amber color with small head. Malty and sour aroma, nice, with delicate fruity touch. The mouthfeel is strong, there is a good Bretts character; indeed there is a trace of fig tree (not the fruits); the sourness is well balanced, some fruit too, and light final astringency; dry in the end.
Very good.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of Doodler. Pours amber with a slight haze and a small off-white head. Sweet and tart aroma - and I actually believe I pick up some fig character. Medium body, caramel and overripe fruit, an acetic edge. Slightly chemical and phenollic, but not enough to spoil the fun. Dryish, tartish - but not overly so. Interesting. 160612
