Pours quite muddy with a reasonable enough head - slight gusher on opening. The nose has a little coffee, caramel and bran flakes. The taste has bourbon creams (chocolate biscuits) then a yeasty sourness to finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a sour finish. Overall, quite tastey for the level of alcohol but so so!

Bottle 500ml.Gusher .... Unclear medium amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour malt, soured milk. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, caramel, caramelized candy, vinegar notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120423]

bottle at home ... deep brown ... tin tan head (after gushing massively every where) ... soft dark toffee malt nose ... way fizzy ... dark malts ... soft roast ... deep fruits ... soft caramel toffee ... light vanilla ... given how much it gushed id expect it to be sour ... but it ok
