On tap pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice roast malts some coffee. Taste is more of the nice chocolate roast malts coffee.

Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Darkest brown pour with a medium beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and coffee in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roast malt, mild coffee and slight chocolate. The finish is sweet with a short burnt malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
