From old notes. From tap at Copenhagen Olfestival 2012. Dark brown color with off white - pinkish head. Malty grainy and yeasty aroma, light fruity. Sweet and light bitter taste. Light oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at ØlFestival 2012. I think the name of the beer makes it well suited for rating no 9999, but the ingredients and process indicates otherwise. Only coincidences made it end up at this spot, so if you believe in faith and the influence of planets and stars, I guess you agree it’s a fine 9999 beer. Well, enough bullshit... It’s a brownish red beer, unclear, and topped by a small, white head. The aroma is dominated by berry scents, I’m guessing it’s the grapes playing, some lemon chimes in and there’s also a touch of something malty. The flavor too is mostly on the grape/berry side, with sugary notes, even though it feels tart, and there’s some maltyness in the back. More grapes chime in after a while. It’s dry, pleasantly carbonated, and as mentioned, lightly tart on the palate. Grapes and a generic fruityness in the end. Well, it’s not exactly my cup of tea (glass of beer/wine), but it’s a decent beer anyway, and an interesting experiment. 120512

Cloudy dark ruby color. Some fruit aroma. Vulgar flavor with light red grape juice and too much bitterness. Not interesting.

Pours dark amber with a off-white to pink head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat and grapes. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long sweet, fruity kind of dry finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ [ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2012 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark.Unclear medium red amber colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, vegetables, moderate yeasty, yeast, grapes, vegetables. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20120512]

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with no head. The aroma has strong notes of caramel combined with medium notes of dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and dusty hops.

[5/12/12] Draught sample at Ølfestival København 2012. Deep murky brownish red color with a tiny bit of pink foam. Aroma of yeast, grapes, a bit of brett and veggie hints. Sweetish-souris flavor, spicy with some yeast, fruitiness, malty notes and some grainy hints. Finishes drier with weird spiciness and a bit of alcohol. Not very pleasant.
